Healthy Boiler Taste Testing Events 

In an effort to educate students about nutrition, Purdue Dining & Culinary will be holding taste testing events throughout the Spring Semester. The focus for Helthy Boiler's January Nutrition in 2019 focuses on the benefits of Hemp Seeds to boost immune health. 

Benefits of Hemp Seeds*

  • Source of healthy fats, which reduce inflammation and help prevent the development of chronic diseases.
  • Good source of easily digestible protein.
  • Enhances exercise performance and recovery.
  • Healthy source of beneficial minerals.
  • Found in health food aisle at most grocery stores.

*There are no intoxication effects from consuming hemp seeds.

Week of January 28, 2019 
Monday Dinner - Ford Dining Court - "Green Smoothie with Hemp Seeds", created by Josh Lausch
Wednesday Dinner - Windsor Dining Court - "Green Bean, Almond, and Hemp Seed Compose Salad", created by Kent Bacon
Friday Lunch - Earhart Dining Court - "Oatmeal and Hemp Seed Energy Bar", created by Nick Alessandri
